This summer included ventures into film/tv for Suehyla! She had her TV debut on Lifetime's new hit, Drop Dead Diva. Then, filmed a scene for the new movie Father of Invention, to be released in 2010 and featuring Kevin Spacey, Heather Graham, and more...
This past fall, Suehyla guest-directed at Shiloh High School, staging William Shakespeare's Scottish Play with the amazing students of Shiloh's Theatre Department.
Up next?
Suehyla reunites with Synchronicity Performance Group for the remounting of Women+War, opening in February. This production features script updates/changes and a whole new cast. Suehyla is dramaturg and assistant director to Rachel May and choreographer Celeste Miller. Please follow us on our fan page. Simultaneously, she prepares for her role in the world premiere of Tennis in Nablus, recipient of the 2009Kendeda Graduate Playwriting Award. Tennis in Nablus opens in February on the Hertz Stage of The Alliance Theatre.
