New Year's Resolutions

January 15, 2012

I find that when I make a New Year's resolution not to do something, I end up doing it more. Or, if resolve to do something...I won't do it. So, in that practice, I resolve the following:

1. I resolve TO be late to everything.
2. I resolve NOT to tell anyone about my current show 40 WEEKS, written by Michael Henry Harris, directed by Topher Payne (assistant director, Kristin Kalbi), produced at OnStage Atlanta (co-produced by NYC theatre company InViolet Rep). I also won't tell you it closes next weekend. Nor will I tell you about the interview on WABE's City Cafe. Finally, I definitely will find the will power not to mention that Barbara Cole Uterhardt, Googie Uterhardt, Michelle David, and Bryan Brendle are also in the cast. Nope. NOT a word from me.
3. I will NOT keep my apartment clean on a daily basis. No sirree.
4. I will stop sharing the news of the now-on-dvd movie, FATHER OF INVENTION, of which I have tiny scene with Kevin Spacey and Heather Graham. Yep. Nope. No one will know.
5.Finally, I will completely keep to myself that one can hear my voice narrating several audiobooks of various genres on ListenUp Audio Books and that one may merely search for me by name at said site.

Yep. I think that pretty much covers it all. And i'm glad that I can share this with you, so you can bear witness to my personal journey of self-improvement...

Happy New Year.
